Well hello there, bloggersphere!
I thought my first post should be somewhat an introductory speech. My names Grace Walker, I'm an eighteen year old student (soon to be nineteen) studying English Literature, History and French at A-Level with the aspiration of going to University to study Languages from September. I'd love to say which city I'll be in, but that of course all on depends on how tremendously well or disastrously wrong my summer exams go. But I'm working hard, and whatever will be, will be.
I'm also known to be an arty person by my friends and family. Though I don't study Fine Art anymore (I stopped after AS), it's still something I find fascinating and /I'm always eager to expand my knowledge by visiting galleries whenever I can. Art has such a huge impact on fashion, so I think it would be silly to not take the two as a pair. In my earlier days, I dreamt of becoming either an artist, fashion designer or writer, yet I've come to a solution by combining all three and aim to become a fashion/features journalist.
First and Foremost, I intend to make The Fashion Lingo a place to admire and analyse my favaourite trends, give my own style tips and make you all drool over pictures of £3000 Valentino dresses. Aside from this, I'll be writing about the places I go, people I meet and anything I find interesting or inspiring. Sometimes I get this crazy urge to write things down; it could be about the tiniest thing from a funny conversation, to a blubbery sob story whilst I drown my sorrows in Ben & Jerry's. You never know what you're going to get...how exciting.
